AC Wizard was sent by American Home Shield to fix our non-cooling air conditioner. Their service tech, Matt, arrived on time and went right to work solving the problem. We were very pleased with the company and the tech.
Replaced condenser fan motor and capacitors
Rewired door switch wires for the furnace as the original wires were burnt off. The furnace kicked on and the run cap, compressor, and Freon levels were good. The house is cooling!
Diagnosed old metal ductwork that needs to be reinsulated.
Upon arrival the home was around 79 degrees, we replaced a run cap and checked the customer’s pressures. The system is now cooling and down two degrees!
Homeowners condenser fan was not turning due to a wire being cut. Spliced wire and reconnected it and homeowner has cool air again
Unit was leaking so I vacuumed the water out of the drain pan before clearing the line using CO2. The unit is not operational and running as normally.
Diagnosed a high efficiency Trane AC with an intermittent problem.
Diagnosed a leaking air handler on an apartment complex.
Fixed a Goodman AC that had a loose fan wire.
Fixed a Rheem AC that had a broken thermostat.
Breaker was tripped. Replaced dual run cap and a fuse in the circuit board. Temp difference is 15-20 degrees Fahrenheit. Pressures are good and the house is cooling.
Inspected blower motor for any loose impediments. Everything was clear and there are no issues at this time.
Inspected Evap coil for leaks and didn’t find any. Injected leak sealant and added four pounds of 410A. System is cooling!
Replaced blower motor. Installed new 10uf run cap. Checked the pressures which are fine and everything mechanical is running properly. The temp differential is 15-20 degrees Fahrenheit. System is cooling!
Fixed a Carrier air conditioner that was not turning on.
Fixed a Trane AC that had a bad capacitor.
Tuned up a Ruud brand AC and made sure it worked good.
Fixed a Trane AC that had a dirty condenser overheating.
Diagnosed a leaking evaporator on a Trane AC.
Fixed a Trane AC that had a fan burning out that needed replacing.
Replaced three double a batteries as the thermostat was not reading anything upon arrival. Checked the pressures and temp difference and everything looks good! The air filters were in good shape.
Fixed a clogged drain in a Goodman AC.
Dual run cap had gone bad so we replaced it with a new one. The pressures were reading good and the temp difference was around 19 degrees Fahrenheit. The system is cooling.
Found a leak in the condenser unit, homeowner will be upgrading condenser to 410a.
The air filter’s had just been replaced and both system were frozen. We recommended the customer leave their system off for 12-24 hours so their unit’s have time to defrost.
